Davenport and Rock Island’s annual celebration of our country’s independence will once again be the centerpiece of a busy evening with over 20,000 people expected to pack the Riverfront!

From a giant movie screen in Centennial Park to more live music and family activities on 2nd Street, we've got a lot of great new activities for this year's event

The Mississippi Valley Blues Society is celebrating the 25th anniversary of their famous three-day blues festival held in picturesque LeClaire Park on the banks of the Mississippi River.

Through the care and attention paid in selecting performers to represent a variety of blues styles and the down-home non-commercial atmosphere of the fest, over the years the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival has become recognized as one of the finest blues fests in the country.

Volunteer Forms for Summer Festivals Now Online
Interested in volunteering for Street Fest or River Roots Live? Each year, the DavenportOne Downtown Partnership needs help from hundreds of volunteers to make sure our summer festivals are fun for everyone.

Major Exhibit at the Figge - Extended!
What: A Legacy for Iowa: Pollock's Mural & Modern Masterworks from the University of Iowa Museum of Art
 
Modern masterworks by world-renowned artists including Jackson Pollock, Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse will be featured in an upcoming University of Iowa Museum of Art (UIMA)-organized exhibition at the Figge Art Museum.

The exhibition has been extended and will now run through December 2009!

Don't miss this incredible opportunity to see the fist exhibition of UIMA works at the Figge featuring some of the worlds' finest 20th century American and Euopean paintings!
