Two New Murals Leave Their Mark on Downtown Davenport

Two new murals were added to Downtown Davenport's public art scene, bringing fresh color, creativity and perspective to downtown walls. The 2026 murals were created by returning AC artist Atlanta Dawn and national artist Andrey Key Detail. Take a closer look at the murals and the artists behind them below.

"A glimpse into Davenport's Motor Row, when 3rd Street was bustling with automobiles, local businesses, and a city on the move. The vintage Firestone and Mobil Oil advertisements pay homage to businesses that once called 301 E. 3rd Street home. Layered like weathered newspaper clippings, the mural peels back the past and brings a little piece of Motor Row back to life."

The 2026 Mural Fest is presented through a collaboration between Downtown Davenport Partnership, Downtown Bettendorf Organization, Rock Island Downtown Alliance, and Quad City Arts, with additional support from Altorfer CAT Rentals, Bent River Brewing - Rock Island, Hupp Toyota, and Stecker Graphics.
