Festival of Trees & Kaiserslautern Tree Lighting Ceremony

Festival of Trees is hailed as one of the best events in the Quad Cities each year for good reason. It's been a holiday staple in our region since 1986! The event features 100 designer trees, 14 special events, and the largest helium balloon parade in the Midwest!

The festivities kick off on Friday, November 17th with a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Kaiserslautern Square (119 E. 3rd St.).

The free family-friendly event will feature Quad City Arts carolers kicking off the holiday season with hot chocolate and plenty of holiday cheer as a huge Norway Spruce Christmas Tree is illuminated for the first time this season.

The Holiday Parade is not only the largest helium balloon parade in the Midwest, it’s also the only televised parade in the Quad Cities! The parade will start at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 18.

The tree lighting and parade are free to attend; the Festival of Trees is a ticketed event. For all the info on Festival of Trees events visit qcfestivaloftrees.com.
