The holidays are coming alive in Downtown Davenport, Bettendorf and Rock Island! Starting November 20, explore the Deck the Downtowns promotions with festive activities, local shopping, delicious treats and a chance to win prizes along the way. From a Holiday Display Challenge to the classic Hunt for the Holiday Pickle, there's plenty to keep you in the holiday spirit.

The Holiday Display Challenge is decking out Downtown Bettendorf, Davenport and Rock Island with painted windows and plenty of holiday cheer!
We have 70+ businesses and 20 local artists that have transformed storefronts into festive works of art… and your votes decide the winner!
From November 20 through January 1, you’re invited to explore these festive displays and vote for your favorite. Every voter is automatically entered into a drawing to win downtown gift cards & goodies. The artist who received the most votes wins a grand prize!

The beloved German tradition of the pickle hunt returns November 20 – January 1. Explore 30+ participating businesses across Downtown Davenport and keep your eyes peeled for the hidden pickles. Find 10 pickles to win a pickle ornament for your own tree and be entered into a drawing for a chance to win downtown gift cards and a Grand Prize Basket!
To join the hunt, pick up an official Pickle Hunt card at any of the participating businesses. Once you have completed the card, return it to one of the following locations:

A cherished holiday tradition since 1986, Festival of Trees is one of the most celebrated events in the Quad Cities – and for good reason. Each year, the festival brings over 100 beautifully decorated trees, 14 special events and the largest helium balloon parade in the Midwest.
The festivities begin on Saturday, November 22 at 10 a.m. with the Holiday Parade, not only the largest of its kind in the Midwest, but also the only televised parade in the Quad Cities. The parade is free to attend; the Festival of Trees is a ticketed event.

Small Business Saturday deserves a do-over! ❄️
The major snowstorm that fell on the national date kept many people home and our small businesses felt it. So, Downtown Davenport is rallying together for Small Business Saturday 2.0 on Saturday, December 13! Shop local and make a real impact while celebrating the businesses that make our downtown special. Whether you’re grabbing a coffee, picking up a gift or exploring a new shop, every purchase matters.
As a thank you to those who shop local, the Downtown Davenport Partnership will be out on the streets giving away over $500 in gift cards to downtown businesses – completely at random, thanks to the support of GreenState Credit Union.
Come downtown, shop small and you just might be surprised with a little extra holiday cheer!
