The Beloved Pickle Hunt Returns to Downtown Davenport for Deck the Downtowns!

November 20, 2025 - January 1, 2026

The cherished German tradition of the Pickle Hunt is back! Explore 30+ participating businesses across Downtown Davenport and keep your eyes peeled for hidden pickles tucked away in storefronts and shops.

How to Play:

1. Pick up an official Pickle Hunt card at any participating business.
2. Hunt for hidden pickles as you explore downtown.
3. Every time you find a pickle, the business will stamp your card.
4. Collect 10 stamps to earn a pickle ornament for your own tree!
5. Once you've completed your card, turn it in to one of the following locations to receive your very own pickle ornament (while supplies last) AND get entered into a drawing for downtown gift cards and the Grand Prize Basket:

• German American Heritage Center (712 W. 2nd Street)
  • Hours: Tuesday - Saturday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Please Note: The museum is closed December 24 - January 1
• Davenport Public Library (321 N. Main Street)
  • Hours: Monday: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Tuesday - Saturday: 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
